Halo Survivor: Episode One

Our gaming group has spent SO LONG on trying to get this series started. After like two years of preparation and jumping over obstacles, it is finally done, released, and online for everyone to view. Go check it out. Now that we've begun, hopefully we can keep them coming.

Comic #34

Exactly what I was feeling last night while taking this stupid test.

How many times am I going to be walking down the street and thinking: "Gee I wonder what is the anti-derivative of 3x - 2."

And I so bombed the test I was taking last night.

Comic #31 & Planet Iceburg

Ever felt this way?

No, that batch won't actually do that.

While I'm here I'm going to plug Planet Iceburg. It's a group that I am a part of and we hang out and talk about gaming and random crap on a forums. The place is very off-topic and if you feel you have the wacky nature enough to join, feel free. It's free. Link below (in the logo):

We are a professional group with our own web server. Not those wannabe 12 year olds who host a freewebs account and call themselves cool.

We've also made a bunch of machinima and you can find those links to the videos in the forums as well.

Comic #30

I don't think this one is really funny. It's just something I whipped up out of shear boredom during lunch today.

Be on the look out though. I'm considering flashifying some scenes I drew in my Senior Year of High School. Nothing really fancy....just sorta cool.

Here's something I drew from memory during Study Hall one day. I scanned it into the computer and retraced it in flash.

Comic #29

Spent a while on this one. Mainly because I did everything by hand. Even the text. Enjoy guys.

I KNOW THAT YOU DON'T READ MY BLOGS. IF YOU WANT THE COMIC TO MAKE SENSE READ THIS.

WATCH THIS

If you don't follow, it's based upon the editing styles of a new show called Fringe. Every time they show off a new place instead of the cliche white words in the corner of the screen, they put 3-d text into the scene and make it look like it's really sitting there.

Good sci-fi series on FOX. You should check it out.

Comic #28 - "The One that is Out of Whack"

Just finished up comic #28. This one is different from the rest. It's larger for one. I needed more room so the text was legible. The second thing is it's not side by side panels, these ones are overlapping. So a few changes. Meh...enjoy.

Bonus points to whoever can solve it.
Below: What I think the answer is. I'm probably wrong.

ydy - 4(x+y²)dy = 0
y(udy + ydu) - 4(uy + y²)dy = 0
uydy + y²du - 4uydy + 4y²dy = 0
-3uydy + y²du + 4y²dy = 0
-3uydy + 4y²dy = -y²du
y + 4y^6 + y² dy = -(1/3u) du
5y^8 dy = -1/3(1/u) du
(5y^9)/9 = -(1/3)ln|x/y| + C
e^((5y^9)/9) = C(x/y)^(-1/3)

Hmm. Studying and drawing comics at the same time is possible.
